Quick Massive Dmg as a S-Priest

This is my first post, I just found out about this website today and I just wanted to share a little something I found...

1)Roll a priest
2)Get Engineering as one of your professions, doesn't matter what the other one is
3)Get to lvl 70
4)Engineering
5)Create the engineering Shadow spell reflector
6)Duel/Go into arena
7)Pop the trinket and cast Shadow Word: Death
They take the initial damage and the reflected damage

Notice that it says: "Chance to be resisted when used by players over level 60."

Anyway theoretically that would mean 2x damage. First the hit, then the trinket's self reflect... Minimum 1328 shadow damage without any resists or spell damage.

Or you can be any other class and use the trinket. Then the priest will take all the damage on themselves.. =)

I dont understand.. You use trinket, cast shadow word pain on other people and it reflects that shadow word pain back to your target? Wtf? How could they take reflected damage, if you cast reflecting thing..? Im really confused :confused:

'shadow word: death, not pain. its instant spell what does around 800 dmg.
if target doesnt die to that dmg, u take same dmg, that SW:death did to target.
with reflector, u first do ~800 dmg with SW:death, when it hits back, u reflect that dmg, what normaly hits u, back to target, doing double dmg.

But even if your enemy absorbs it its still not hitting you.

I couldn't resist to notice the title of this topic.... But don't shadow priests -always- do massive damage quickly?

If done right any class could be powerfull with engeering

Um, the item says "reflects damage back to the caster fo 5 seconds." Wouldn't that just hurt you?

Back to the caster, it means that the other person/mob is the caster.

K, the damage is done to your enemy, it recieves that damage.

There would be damage coming to you, shadow damage. You are reflecting that damage however, and it goes back onto your target.
