Know which random heroic you're queued for and leave without debuff

First off: DIE.
Then as a ghost, queue up for a random heroic.
Accept when the queue pops, but you won't be automatically ported in because you're a ghost.
If you leave group without ENTERING but AFTER ACCEPTING dungeon pop, you're fine.
You'll be able to see what dungeon you're in as well as if your group is terribad (hp/mana).

Does it put you on the 15 minute dungeon finder cool down? Or can I just leave group and reque?

Do you need to die and queue for dungeon or you can just queue and when window pops up, mount up, fly high enough and dismount. Then when you are a ghost click accept.

Doesn't matter, just as long you are dead before you press 'Enter Dungeon' you will be fine.

The 15 min cooldown is automatic, so I assume yes you would have to wait.

I could be wrong, but the title of the thread does say "Leave without Debuff", and he says in the OP "If you leave group without ENTERING but AFTER ACCEPTING dungeon pop, you're fine." I assume both of these mean you would NOT have to wait 15 minutes, but I haven't tested.

The Debuff and the CD on the LFD tool are not the same thing

Cool, if it's the other way, then I can't do anything while dead This will help me a lot since I only get DM or SfK as random 90% of the time, and I hate those.

Btw. Does your class/gear determ what dungeon you'll get in random? Im asking coz during WoTLK i was getting AN or Toc like 80% of the time on druid, on lock HoL or HoS in 80% of the time and on mage UtP or DtK in more then 80% od queues.

Nice find. I'll try this out and how it works with the dungeon CD. My guess is that you will still get the dungeon CD as you have entered the group for the dungeon and are out of the queue. Anyway, +rep.

Tried it but you get the 30mins debuff after you leave the party even if you didn't enter the instance.

Can't login atm to verify... but I'm fairly certain that simply being in combat will prevent you from being ported into the dungeon automatically upon clicking "enter"

you'll have to manually teleport to dungeon using the minimap icon.
