Despawn mobs in The Vortex Pinnacle

1. Get a priest to join your Vortex Pinnacle run
2. Let him use Mind Control on the mobs
3. Walk it to the edge and jump off
4. ???
5. profit.

(They will get stuck in the air and will despawn after a few seconds)

This has been around since week 1.

They don't despawn forever, either. They can randomly reset in combat.

Are you sure? Since I didn't see them respawning/resetting.

We did this when we had just a priest for CC. Wait until just before it ends them jump it off. It'll stay down there longer if the priest stands on the edge, within its los.

Is it just the mob that you MC'ed that despawns or does the entire group attached to that mob despawn as well?

Ahh someone mentioned it before me. Oh well. The lulz to be had are insane though. The priest in my group that's been Mcing the whole time just randomly had his blown off the edge yesterday and we laughed so hard. Started just throwing the second healer off the edge instead of mc'ing.

Ever since they fixed my guide they respawn.

Yeah they respawn, you can only despawn by:

1. Mind Control
2. Jump off the edge and release Mc so that he's not falling but floating in the air.
3. Let someone Sheep that target.
4. Mindcontrol again.
5. Just release.
6. Sheep falls down and doesn't respawn.

Just takes a little too long.
