Avoid getting ported from TB to hearth location while in Queue during battles

So now that TB gives 1800 for winning as an attacker, everyone seems to want to get in for the bonus. However not everyone gets in and has to chill by the bridge waiting in queue and for the game to end. Normally if you run into the zone while in queue and wait too long you get ported to your hearth location after a really short time.

I found out today that if you don't join the queue, and run into the zone, you will be asked if you want to queue. If you leave that window up, you can sit inside the TB zone longer while waiting for the game to end. However, you still get ported, but its only to the end of the bridge where everyone is already waiting. This can be useful closer to the ends of the game to give you a larger window of time and increase your chances of getting the bonus as you will not have to run across the bridge constantly (I have never missed a single bonus doing this).

You missed the point. You have to run in like 15s ish before the battle ends so that you're still inside when it finishes.
This exploit is not about avoiding the teleport entirely.

Youre not supposed to take the queue at all or even be in it to begin with. All you have to do is leave the queue request open and it will sit there longer and not port you to hearth.
