Secret Area, Data Downloading?

Hey everyone, I recently found this area where if you approach the end of it, this odd wall/portal appears, almost like an upwards waterfall. When you get close to it, that download circle appears at the top of the screen, saying "Core game data is being downloaded."

Now, when I check my connection info on the menu tab, it says its 100% Downloaded, and my bandwidth is 0 Mbps. Anybody know what gives here? Is it a firewall blocking out the download? Cause the circle stayed red for a good 30 minutes.

I used be an exploiter back during the days of Vanilla, so after I found out a few secrets on how to get past most of Blizzard's walls in 4.0.3, I've been re-exploring areas that my group used to check out back in the day. In one of them, I was surprised to find this, so if anyone has any input on how to actually get the data that it wants to download, I would much appreciate it, and will release whatever is found after I test it out. Or I will trade the information to anyone who has a viable way of getting into the Emerald Dream on a live server. (or if anyone has information on that, I would appreciate it a lot)

Hey, just trying to figure out a solution to this, or if anyone has seen anything similar. If someone helps find a solution I'll explain how I got there and where it is =]

That blue "portal" appears when you reach the end of the world, where the invisible wall stops you from going further. Whenever you reach the end of the world the red wheel will spin but I don't know for how long.

Thanks Blisser, I appreciate the input. Was curious as to what it was I guess, at least now I know not to wait for a download that doesn't do anything haha. Although, this is found inside a secret room, within the Crypt under Karazhan. ;]

I just tested it with the end of the world thing, and yeah, same wall/downloader thing appears. Guess it just routes to nothing then.

It's not a exploit.

It's a bug that occurs when you leave marked boundaries of maps.

I got it while going outside of Deepholm. Normally occurs when you hit the world boundaries (Blue wall which follows you when you're close.)

Technically, it would be just an aurora. Aurora Borealis is the name of the specific one that most people know of.
