Hey ppl. If this is alrdy posted plz delete as i have searched and didnt find anything.
Anyway, if you have the X-52 Rocket Helmet from area 52 in netherstorm, you can get on the roofs of ironforge. (The helmet says only in outland, but works wherever flying mounts are enabled, which now includes azeroth) If you stand right in front of a building just past where the roof ends, and use the helmet you will be shot in the air. When you get the parachute buff and start falling, d/c with a d/c macro. When you log back in, move foward and you will be able to glide forward onto the roof. If u have Rocket Boots and slowfall, u can building hop kinda sorta.

D/c macro for those of you who dont have it is /console startproject

Edit- forgot to mention that it fosent always give u a parachute....

is it bugged to work in azeroth now?


edit: just got it to work in stormwind, but instead of a parachute it just killed me when i got as high as it would take me lol. So my body just fell back down and i had to run back from the graveyard >.<

Confirmed to work, but not in the way the post may have led you to believe... when you use it and d/c, and log back on, go forward and you will begin floating forward on the parachute.

Confirmed. This works. Not sure if it should be in exploration though. I didn't know you could use the helmet in Azeroth now, though. +Rep

The X-52 Rocket Helmet works in Northrend as well since day one. And it worked to get into Wintergrasp fortress until I made a topic about it here :P

Also if you're a mage you can simply blink and move instead of using the DC macro.
