Camel/Pygmy Farming + Helpful Uldum Facts

Sup guys. Im new to the site but since various posts helped me get over to the Uldum camel wall I thought I would share this information for those killing the wild camels/cavorting pygmy's since the loot tables arent accurate. Feel free to also post what you've recieved. After various hours of farming in two very nice areas I noticed they drop pieces that after researching in wowhead are part of sets but give no set bonus. Also noticed the respawn timer is about 5 minutes.

piece i got was rather shitty, ring of the whale and gave 139 spirit and 209 stamina requiring level 82

One that dropped for me was spaulders of the monkey - 177 agility, 266 stamina, requires level 81

(Mine was vest of the monkey with 263 agility, and 396 stamina requiring level 83)

stats were 120 stam, 80 int, 80 crit. best green so far.

Other items i have recieved - Wispy tail hair, Embersilk cloth, Toughened Flesh and some greys.

Side note - I tried using disconnect macros while levitating over into uldum over the hill and tried killing myself and rezzing on the line of uldum, and going through tanaris into ocean and getting into uldum through the ocean, mcing etc.. and nothing works so dont waste your time! Only thing i was able to do was open up two windows and bug one out near uldum and explore the zone with no npcs or anything active. Hopefully I helped anyone since i've been trying for the last 2 days to get as far as possible.

I've recieved a permaban. other than that before being banned a few greens and tons of embersilk cloth. and meat.

Did you do anything else that might have contributed to the ban? I vendored my one green and some cloth just to be safe, but a perma seems quite severe without some past offenses.

The don't permaban you for first offenses. 48 hr ban, 72hr ban, then permaban.

I've gotten a lot of greens here though also, and 4 stacks of cloth off the pygmies (The do drop greens, Chilloutt) The greens I've gotten from them have been level 80. I'm wearing a couple.

The only way they will know you got a green is if you tell people, and those people report you. Pretty much all of the bans that I've read about happening where from when you could go INSIDE the zone, and explore/kill npcs/get achieves. Haven't heard a single one happening after, excluding the potential ban of the person listed earlier in this thread. But I find it unlikely that it was just from killing camels or pygmies.

where do people get this information from? im pretty sure suspension length varies depending on the severity (and repeat offences). my previous 2 suspensions were both for 72 hours. both on the same account, that same account has never had a warning, 3 hour, 24 hour or 48 hour suspension (from memory those are the lengths of suspensions before 72 hour).

Its as polyester said, its about the severity of whatever you do or infact how their feeling at the time.

My last account was perm banned with no warnings, first offence.

Yet the one im on now has had 3 hours, and two 72 hours.

I've recieved as well a perma ban - but on my alt account... after couple of hours farming got pretty much greeny's and jwc pattern..

Seems greenys somehow alerts blizz as i got round 500stack of fish and same ammount of cata leather and 20 pristine hide. But so far so good

I'm now standing and "farming" these mobs for about an hour and still wait to see any green / blue drops. ^^

Err, Incorrect. Greens don't notify blizz. I've been farming these guys for days now, and no problems, quite a stockpile of greens and such. The people getting banned are telling people, showing off, etc. Quiet and cool and you'll be fine.

The dumbest thing you can do is sell this new stuff through the auction house or trade chat, if you do that then you deserve a ban.
