I just accdiently found this while doing http://www.wowhead.com/quest=28000"
for the rainbow generator, when my friend caught the imp and mount up, her mount have the option to jump in acting as if that was a multi passenger mount..so I jumped on, worked on me too.
So:
Do the quest above link
Catch imp
mount up
now your party mates can jump on your mount.
work as long as you carrying the imp on your back.

and I found out that your friends will also be able to fuse with you when you fly with a gryphon/windrider. when you're fused with your friend you'll be able to jump off whenever you want.

Tried this earlier and it worked, though just doing an instance now and part way through the sack disappeared off my back so i'm guessing it just got hotfixed, though I have yet to go and pick up to quest again to see.

How did you make it still work? I just teleport off Felwood and the imp sack disapeared.

I caught the imp 2days ago and logged off in org before the hotfix was applied. I didn't try to do the quest again after that fix. thats maybe the reason why it does work for me, but not for some other ppl
