Well during the quest you have to enslave the kobolds by whipping them thus causing them to follow you and aid you in combat. In total you get 6 and they do around 20 damage each so if you do the math 20x6= 120 damage not alot but they also have a 1.00 attack speed so it's some damage.To add to that they also cast the spell Ground Spike - Spell - World of Warcraft pretty often. So me and my friend were on this quest and we decided to drop it and start it over so we can both have kobolds. So we strolled into there with 12 kobolds obliterating everything in our way and thanks to the new spawn mechanics we had no down time at all and the xp just kept rolling in.

TL;DR
Get the quest Reinforcements... - Quest - World of Warcraft, then whip 6 kobolds forcing them to fight stuff with you and rape face.
For more face rapeage bring a buddy have him do the quest to while his out of the group then invite him and watch the sweet xp roll in.
