Create Terrain!!! (trap players, block the AH) so funny...

I was reluctant to share this, but In the end I think it's worth it to. All the fun I've gotten from this needs to go around (plus I've gotten enough out of this site to pay it back!)

Currently Banners from the argent tournament (except exodar) work like terrain, you can't move through them. I'm almost certain this is a bug and here are a few examples why.


Blocking the AH--- LOL! so many people were mad. I fraps'd some footage but it's not done yet.

The reactions ranged from rage to admiration. We would pause to let a few through then block it again lol. Needless to say we had like 8 people dying in vent and this was good for hours of entertainment, just reading what people typed in /say. Mages can blink through and we actually made a bunch of money selling portals out.

The fewest we have trapped someone with is 3 banners in a perfect triangle. Takes some practice. Some got mad, and some were laughing so hard they rolled alliance to congratulate us.

Don't have friends?
I have had some success with the stormwind banner trapping 1 person with 1 flag. You need to put the flag directly in the center of their hitbox, and they get stuck "inside" it. It's easy to get them stuck, but only a perfect plant will keep them there. They can wiggle out easily if you don't center it.

Stacking flags / floating

You can jump on top of the flags, and when they disappear, you are floating in the air. Not as exciting but still funny.

Others:
Blocking the flag in WSG.
Taking their flag and barracading yourself in that little side room.

There are many more things in here than simply blocking the AH I hope you can look at those discoveries and get some benefit.

Can confirm that this works. I sought out someone I had a grudge against and trapped them by myself. This is hilarious. Best part is they have a hard time finding out who planted the banner if they aren't looking when it happens. I don't think you will get banned for this unless you like block the wsg flag or something. +rep if i can

your post contains one use for the flag and has no screenshots. There are at least 6 ideas here, including the ability to trap an individual player by yourself.

Doesnt seem to be wokring anymore. I tried to place my IF banner, and it places down as a a Darnassus banner graphic o.O

Argent banner places the Undercity Graphic. Which is odd in itself because I am alliance

is fixed on EU servers horde side. Now any flag that was solid results in Undercity flag, which is passable through.
