Easy Mithril Farm

Hey there,

Since I dont know exactly how long ago, you can que up for the Cata event bosses without having to beat the event first. This means easy Mithril farming.

What you need to do is que up for Crown Princess Theradras:

1) Kill the boss, jump down the waterfall.
2) Keep swimming till the small tunnel.
3) All the mobs are despawned
4) However, all the Mithril Veins are still there.
5) Just mine the whole instance and leave.

Start with step 1 again.

Some tips:
-This is especially good farm for people with speed boosts (rogues/shamans/druids)
-Get some water walking pots if you're not a shaman/priest.
-Save the mithril ore untill Catalysm, the prices should increase by alot for all the new alts/mains with new proffesions.

Why is this an exploit? In my opinion Blizzard didnt intend on letting you mine a whole instance without mobs being there.

This also works with the other instances, but i don't know what (if) Veins spawn there.

Or run around in Tanaris and get 2x the amount?

On my server Tanaris is camped by farmers and bots, in here you got no competition. And have you even tried it? I doubt you can get twice the amount.

Farming Mithril in Tanaris or The Hinterlands is more faster than farming it in Dungeons..
+++ also if some bots farming there, too +++

I may be wrong, but I believe that mithril would be much easier to farm in Uldaman (More so if you are only there for level, due to the Indurium(?) deposits of the same level). You might have to kill a few monsters on the way, but you are not limited to farm the ores at a specific time for a specified duration.

It should be mentioned that this method can only be used as level 80+, so if you're low level and looking for some easy mining levels at mithril level, this is not useful.
