Instant cast flying mount all over outland (Netherwing Ledge)

There are similar threads about the Netherwing Ledge bug that allows you to instant cast the netherwing flying mount. However this will allow you to use that bug not just within the Netherwing Ledge, but all over Outland & Northrend as Engineering.

Note that there might be a way to use it at some other location than just Outland.
Entering a portal to shattrath will not break the bug.

I have a hard time understanding the mechanics behind this bug, yet alone recreate it, any advice?.

This looks neat, not understanding completely, do I get to that spot, do what you did, and dismount?

And does buffing myself with any type of buff cause me to mount?

When you're inside netherwing ledge, any buff will make you mount up instantly for some reason. But it only works during the time you're in the netherwing ledge. Now what i did in the video was to quickly enter netherwing ledge on a ground mount and once you enter the zone, quickly go back into "shadowmoon valley". Try buff yourself and if it doesn't work you just got to keep on trying.

did they remove the flying in azeroth? im neutral with netherwing and i dont recieve/transform into an orc from my x-53 rocket..

even better: use the trick described and then use your Engineer Wormhole to go to Northrend while mounted!
you can keep the instant mounting stuff going and this will be awesome for ganking purposes!

Nice find, I tried using Hearthstone to northrend but that didn't work. I'l test wormhole later .

just tried it again with icecrown as destination. dunno if I did something wrong, but didn't seem to work here...
I'll test again in 4 hours...last destination was Sholazar Basin, which worked perfectly, as you can see in the screenshots two posts up

edit: tried again but couldn't get it to work...i have no clue what happened or if they fixed it. will try in 4 hours (damn that long cooldown -.-)
edit2: ok got it working again. sholazar. will try other destinations tomorrow. seems you have to take off immediately after arrival otherwise it won't work. i was in the air when i chose my destination so that might be another reason it worked this time.
further testing will commence, there's nothing else to do now any way...

update: can't get icecrown to work...tried the same method, as this morning and didn't work. so far sholazar seems to be the only place this works for...
however you can fly anywhere...even if you land in dalaran you can go back to krasus landing and the instant-mount-bug still works! hope it won't be fixed when the patch hits...
i mean, i really really wanna do some gankin before cata

i would suggest you edit the thread title to indicate northrend, as well? maybe more will be interested
