Glacion - Nearly instant elite mob spawn, 360,000xp / hr (unrested)

Greetings. One of my previous contributions to this forum eventuated with an eventual fix on blizzards behalf, this one may also trigger a similar response.

I have been leveling my warlock in the Howling Fjord and have stumbled across a quest mob named 'Glacius'. The quest that requires you to kill him provided you with a 'Horn' that summoned him to a specific spot. He is an elite mob with ~23k HP and can be easily solod. You do not need to be on the quest to be able to kill this mob, nor do you need a quest item.

The thing is, this mob has a 30-35 second respawn timer and can be effectively farmed for an easy 3k xp or 6k xp rested. This alone doesn't seem like alot, but 3k xp * 2 per minute = 30,000 xp for 5 minutes. That is an elite quest every 5 minutes! Without having to move! If you are rested like I am you can achieve 720,000 xp / hr.

The best part about this is the fact that since the mob is so easy to solo AND always spawns in the exact same position, you can effectively program your g15 keyboard to spam a cast sequence macro or a spell like 'drain life' and automate the process.

Even if you do not wish to automate such a thing in fear of being banned, simply staying in the one spot is still an easy alternative to questing. I was grinding this mob whilst waiting for random dungeons to pop.

Here is a screenshot of where to stand, and where to find the mob:

    What does this even mean?

You are meant to stand exactly where you see me standing. It spawns EXACTLY above that point? What did you expect to happen if you attack it mid air?

I tried this method, but it just wasn't as quick as running around on the ground killing all the mobs in the area below Glacion. This is probably because you can't actually kill Glacion twice every minute.

I noticed after my first kill, he respawned immediately. After each additional kill, it took him 30 seconds before respawning each time, then I had to actually kill him. At level 73, this was taking me about 15 seconds each kill, which dropped the XP gain from the OP's post (of 2 kills per minute) to about 66% of that much (2 kills per 1.5 minutes).

I could, however, kill 2-3 mobs every 20-30 seconds on the ground, and 3 of the Vrykul in the area below Glacion give you enough XP to put you just under 1 Glacion kill.

The point? Grinding mobs in a tight vicinity is still the fastest way I have found to level (excluding the Athene instance exploit).

I fail to see how this is useful when questing nets you ~500k xp per hour unrested, and up to 800k per hour with heirlooms. These numbers are just taken from personal experience, and I'm sure many on the forums here can do better than me.

Here is a pic of me questing with zygor (which can be found in the private sections of these forums)
Look at the xp and /played time.

This is not me bragging, I am just saying that 360,000 xp/hour is not very good at all and that makes this exploit rather useless.
(Unless you automate it I quess)
