LichKing - P1 - down "Shambling Horror" the easy way

Well at the beginning of the figth the firstTank takes the LK and the second one waits for the Shambling Horror to off tank him.

The little Guhls on the side of the MainTank get interessting in a second

Lets say the "Shambling Horror" spawns and the offtank takes it. Well usually the Caster tend to dps him down and switch back to the LK.... BUT

I dont know the english name "Nekrotischen Seuche" (15 sec -> 50k dmg )

If someone gets infected.. he runs to the OffTank and than gets decursed. Well this is normal, but now the clue. The Offtanks taunts an little Guhl... JUST ONE ... and also tanks him.

This means the Tank has the Shambling Horror and "1" little Guhl. Also the "Nekrotischen Seuche (15sec > 50k)" this jumps from Mob to Mob and adds up to an 500k BANG . If a little Guhl dies.. the OffTank taunts anotherone. We endup whit just 1 or 2 Guhls left and the Offtank kills the "Shambling Horror" by himself.

Keep bringing the "Nekrotischen Seuche" to the Offtank. This provides even higher Stacks.

I've never seen someone dps the Shamblin Horror in any LK raid i was in.
Just let the dot kill the mob and the dmg dealers just dps the lk. You wont have more than 2 Shambling Horrors in phase one then.

Maybe poster saw the Blood Legion video where afaik they did it that way. Killing Shamblings with plague is actually a "exploit" but is so common sense that makes it the normal tactic.

Why is it an exploit? Blizzard intended to let the dot spread to the ghouls, horrors and players, So if people did this they would get banned? Oh, that's how more or less all the guilds that have downed him do....

This is fully intentional. How else would you do "been waiting a long time for this" without Horrors holding the debuff while you gather ghouls?

This is in no way an exploit....

Our MT Tanks LK, while our OT picks up the Shambling Horrors and taunts and small guys over to him. Our casters stack up, and when someone is infected with the Necrotic Plague, they run to the OT and a priest dispels it there.

When the plague jumps around on all the little guys, it does more and more damage until it's 1-shotting the small guys and takes out the horrors in 2-3 hits.


Necrotic Plague would be pretty useless if it didn't jump to the adds. Everyone would just dispel it and it wouldn't be anything special...
