Skip Deathbringer Saurfang

Ok, my other two contributions sucked, as one was a repost and the other was me trying to steal rep. My apologies. This time, I have a real exploit though. This can only be done DIRECTLY after the Gunship battle in Icecrown citadel.

As we all know, the jet packs from the gunship battle dissapear shortly after the ship docks. However, as you near Deathbringers rise, use your jetpack to fly over there. Keep using the jetpack to remain airborne, and head towards the door. The top right corner is where I tried it. Once I got there, I was stuck, and my jetpack was disabled. I moved around and then I fell down. I was in the door. I walked towards where the inner spire portal would be, and what do ya know, there I was, in the inner spire.

If this doesn't work for you, well, thats your bad. You only have one attempt to do this per week, and you need to do it fast before you lose your pack.

I try to rocketpack around that area too but have never been ported to the upper spire. Did you actually get a loading screen and get to the frost traps area in the real upper spire, and not just get behind the doorway?



Walking forward from where I am here, you get ported out (like normally if you bolt through the door as it opens). Other attempts landing past here I just fell way further down onto invisible blocks.

I was able to get the loading screen, but once on the other screen, no fires at all. I didn;t have time to check if there were any mobs, because my Raid leader summoned me (I was MT)

Why, just why, would you want to skip a tier loot boss?

Perhaps to save hard mode attempts.

Saurfang does not have limited attempts unlike the other tiered loot bosses. However, he is one of the most RNG fights currently in Heroic ICC based on when he applies Blood Boil.

There is another way to skip him however that does not involve rocket packs or only one attempt but not trying to derail the OP's find, either.

No attempts, and if people cant do it on heroic mode then you can always change difficulty ingame to normal. Dont see a reason to skip this easy boss for tier pieces

It doesn't matter why you would want to skip saurfang , the point of this post is an exploit and this is the exploit section. Not the QQ I'm a boss section.

I don't think it works.... I was in ICC last week with infinity and i no clipped through the door and just got ported out.

Also :
- things won't spawn beyond that door etc,bugg
- getting your entire raid through will prolly take longer than just killing the boss.
- Risking a ban for exploit like this is not rlly worth it.
