Warlocks & Lich King P2

Not seen this posted anywhere yet so here we go!

In phase 2 on the Lich King fight, 1 (in 10) or 3 (in 25) people will be grabbed by valkyrs who will start making a dash for the edge, normally this needs all the DPS to be hacking away, slowing, stunning to free their team mates.

However, if a Warlock stands at the edge with their portals deployed their valkyrs, should they be snatched, can be completely ignored!

As soon as the Valkyr releases the warlock they can port back onto the platform and either help with the other adds or get right back on the Lich King.

Any time a warlock is snatched it will really help you out!

I may not know much about Rocket Surgery but isn't this kind of common sense from the stand point that
a) the Warlock being grabbed would realize the same thing
b) the RL would know this to tell his Warlocks in the raid that they need to do this

I am just saying....

I know it sounds like common sense, but not seen this in any guides and they are the only class that can do this kind of thing, hunters can't disengage back on, mages can't port etc. etc.

Haven't fought the LK yet, so sorry if this is a stupid question, but could a hunter disengage back on? I dont know the height you get dropped at..

It prevents certain death. Its like back at malygos porting yourself down to the ground for extra dps while the rest of the raid is still in the air taking damage.

When the Valkyr throws your lock she will go for the next char. So you will have to dps her anyway. The Valkyr spawn timer is also not affected from the death of any existing valkyr. So:
-you dont change dps
-you dont change raiddmg
-you dont change p2 lenght
-> useless.

Well you definately have never done Lich King past p2.

Yes originally the comment used to say I don't know much about rocket science, but there also used to be one for brain surgery too. So all I did and you can also look it up I combined the two together so no not pwned. You are just just need to brush up on your web surfing.
