Wintergrasp Fortress Fun

I have searched the forums for mention of wintergrasp fortress and could not find this anywhere, but apologies if it has already been posted.

I had an amazing time last night doing this and wanted to share. Yes I am easily amused.

Alliance owned WG, next battle starting soon.

Stand torwards the bottom of the steps leading up to the main fortress entrance and mount up on your flying mount - all mounts work. Fly up until you're roughly level with the top of the doorway and will be able to fly in without hitting the top. You must start from slightly further back and not right next to the entrance for this to work - no idea why.

Fly through the doorway and you then have a split second to fly directly up and left or right. It takes a bit of practice but once you have done this a few times it becomes easy. You are then standing on the circular platform near the celing. The great part about being here is threefold:

1. Once WG starts and noone can mount up you are untouchable.
2. You are in range to cast dps and heal people on the ground inside.
3. Once opposing faction have captured fortress you can stand up there and harrass them all you like while they're grouping for VOA without fear of them knowing where you are or being able to retaliate.

Another small glitch that i noticed is that when the battle for WG starts you find yourself standing directly on top of the orb in the centre and still in range to damage people. This may or may not be useful for defending it, but i certainly had an awesome time pvping from here last night.

Hmm, I've done this before but never tried to grief horde while up there, I'll give it a try!

Horde have been doing this on my server to kill people in between battles for a long time now.

an easier way is to fly upside down by pressing ins or del key and fly in to the room and aim your character upwards. there's a longer delay on being dismounted when upside down i think :P

easiest way to get there is from under/behind wg and u fly in to that room

Simply create abit lagg with like 5x YouTube HD quality videos loading and then try aiming upwards

Sorry to say that wont work. Death Grip cant effect people on that spot. (As many other places)
