What is it?
This exploit enables you to kill mobs or raid bosses while you're out of combat!
This exploit basically completely ignores mobs resetting to full health/evading, a mechanic put in ages ago to prevent techniques just like this!
What do you need?
A class that can instantly drop combat*
Any mob or raid boss.
*Tested on rogue only, should work theoretically on hunters, mages, etc.
How does it work?
This exploit is very simple. You simply get in range of the mob you wish to damage, use your hand-mounted pyro rockets to deal some damage, and instantly drop combat using Vanish, Feign Death, etc. The mobs health will drop and will remain below 100%! The mob's health will NOT reset.
Here's a handy macro to use:
This will make sure you pull off this trick with 100% certainty. Note: Replace Vanish with the correct spell if not a rogue.
What are the uses?
This exploit can be used to basically kill a raid boss without even fighting him, just like the infamous Sartharion disc priest exploit that caused an uproar across the community, where Sartharion's health would drop without ever engaging him, thus allowing him to be pulled at 1% and then killed. This exploit is very similar to that, except it's not limited to Sartharion! (and actually works on live).
Be creative! This exploit can unlock almost limitless possibilities.
Show me some proof!
Here's a video I made quickly to demonstrate the exploit just as was explained in this post (pay attention to the creatures health bar on the right):

(Make sure to full-screen)
I mount at the end of this short video to show that the mobs health is below 100% and that me and it are both out of combat! This is also not a visual bug, if you pull the creature you will find that its HP did not reset.
Here is two pictures to further proof the validity of this exploit:
In the first picture you can clearly see me stealthed next to the tree, while its name plate (the "real" health according to a post in this thread) also shows that it took some damage.
In the second picture you can see the combat log, I am engaged in combat with the tree, I deal 0 damage to it (I was punching it with no gear on) and yet its health is below 100%, also reflected by the name plate.
Please note: I use the standard blizzard name plates, so in no way is this a trick or false.
Enjoy!
