How to avoid the 4 pack right after the 2n boss in PoS

Ok, juste found and TESTED this 8 hours ago.

Seems to be inspired by http://www.mmowned.com/forums/wow-ex...-2nd-boss.html but is not, and it doesn't matter beacause this method is safer and skip more packs.



1) Pull ICK
2) Tank him to the point before the tunnel / galerie
3) Kill him !

PPS: more exploit here:

4) Do not not wipe on the last boss, because as you resurrect and go back to him, the 4 pack will spawn (yeah, beacause with the exploit, the 4 pack don't spawn because they are just scripted events which make them appear when you walk/run in certain areas)
5) But, here is the interesting part, full hot your tank, take your mount and run straight to the gallerie, and they will just lose aggro.

Hmm, pretty nice idea really, I will try it whenever I get that as a random dungeon (:P) should actually work.

More than just an idea or theroy I have tested this and it worked for me, no reason it doesn't work for you.

But we wipped on Scourge Lord Tyrannus just after that because a stupid huner did not want to stop his dps while marked by SLT mark (yeah, cool story) >.<

You can reset Ick by running towards Garfrost's area, not sure if going up works.

Hihi, because I discovered your method just after the 3.3 release but it's hard to achieve with Pick Up groups. So, yesterday, while trying to grab a second Axe for my warrior, i was so tired i decided to try to skip those pack. Then, while tanking ICK I had the idea explained in my first post.

tl; dr: I had the same idea than you, the fact that we posted the same say is a coincidence

Or you could just kill him and immediatly after he dies just mount up and head for the tunnel quick

Very high risk of aggro them because they spawn as soon as the FIRST person of the group is near of the beginning of the slope.

This doesn't work. Thought of it and tried it myself a while ago - he resets as soon as you go maybe 10 yards up the slope.
