Between phase 1->2(80%) and 2->3(35%) boss will cast Tear Gas.
Just vanish before end of cast and you'll don't get stun, then simple run to extra add what just spawned (proppably red one) or to boss if u haven't any extra adds on back.

On 10 man when 3 rogues was doing that in my raid, they took 50% of slime hp before stun ends.

We didn't tested another "cc immune" skills so dunno, but vanish works in 100%.
Feel free to test it and post results with other skills.

What? I made that many times with vanish so don't lie that it's don't work.

Well, if u have 100% hp before stun there is no chance that you'll die. Maybe aura will take you 40% hp max. Better to save cloak on hit debuff.

Its for example 200k extra dmg on boss, so i don't think so it's useless.

As a rogue I did this our 2nd ever attempt last week and immediately ran to start beating on Putricide and make everyone jealous of my mad skills. Went great right up until he finished his transformation. I guess there's a split second between him finishing his thing and the stun wearing off, because he punched me in the face real REAL hard.

So yeah, don't stand and melee him through the stun or you will get plastered. Can probably peel off him early and be safe though.

He never hit me when i was hiting him between ph 1 and 2, but he like to punch you between ph2 and 3, so its good to burn evasion on it.

I haven't tried it but I still believe the OP. You can vanish many spells (mainly in PvP, if you've ever seen a good rogue vanish a deathcoil/pyro/sheep/fear/blind/stun/intercept/insert spell), also in PvE. I've been able to vanish Onyxia aoe fear by vanishing at the same time as she casts, same with the dinosaur boss in DTK. Haven't tested on many bosses (for example mimiron aoe isn't worth risking it).

Yup that works, I use Ice block every time which allows me to get that 6/7 sex extra dps.

As said before, you will just take a few thousands damage in 25man during the transition phase without the Tear Gas debuff so it's ok to do it if you've more than 80% when the debuff is applied to the raid.
