How to duplicate cards with inscription

Hey guys, haven't shared anything in a while so I thought I'd share how to make some nice gold by telling you how you can choose which card you get from inscription.

Step #1
First off, pick the card you want to make, I imagine that in most cases, Nobles will be chosen, but it will work with any type of card.

Step #2
Get the card you want and put it in one of your bags. Now, fill up every other slot in your bag with something. It can be anything except for another Darkmoon card.

Step #3
Now, if you don't already have them, get all the mats you need to create a Darkmoon card, and create one. You have to make sure that you have enough mats so that none of your inventory spots open up after you've created the card.

Step #4
Keep creating a new card until you get the card you want. Because your bags are full, you won't get another card in your inventory until you create the card you want, because that card will stack.


^I realize that's a lot to read, so in a nutshell :
Pick a Darkmoon Faire card.
Get mats to make the card.
Fill your bags up completely.
Keep creating cards until you get the one you want.
Rinse & Repeat.
Profit.

After ~400 crafts, no duplicate has been made yet. Either I'm 1 out of over 300,000, or this exploit does not work. Do not attempt.


Test logs:

EDIT 1:

Grabbed the mats, and started crafting with a nobles card. With 32 possible outcomes, I have roughly a 3% chance of getting a duplicate. Letting a bot spam craft while I wait and see.

EDIT 2: Mathematically speaking, after 143 tries, I should have a 99% chance of getting my card. Will craft for 10 minutes or so (> 143 crafts) and update.

EDIT 3:  Nearing the 5 minute mark now, which puts me past 80% chance of getting my card. Noticed that the recipe actually crafts a different item.

Darkmoon Card of the North - Item - World of Warcraft

It's possible that this item transforms into one of the 32 choices as it is created. However, that means it won't be able to stack with any card, disproving this exploit.

Will continue testing.

This is an old exploit that has been patch ages ago. Anyone who has been on this site for a while has seen this posted many times.

No it didn't. It hasn't worked since 3.0.

This is an old exploit known before 3.2.0 i believe.
It was fixed so you can't create card withound 1 free bag space.
Period.

The way the cards are made now that they always go to an empty spot in your bag, not stacking automatically..
