Hall of Reflections, easy 6 min av!

Well, i searched and i want to have deleted this, if it is a repost.


Today i was in Hall of Reflections, and after the first boss, the event starts where the lich king follows you, and you have to escape.


there is an achievement for doing this in 6 minutes, but random its very hard....
NORMALLY

When you get out of this hall you can run up on the right... normal way, but if you run to the edge of the left side and let the king pass, you wont be damaged by lich kings aura, he will just run towards, and mobs will come to you, which means you can hold up more space and so gain more time to kill the mobs. normally you would think: whats up with these stones in the end? ... well, you can just pass it through, seems to be a bug or something like that, i dont know.. Hope this was a little help 4 you!

Some horribly noob tank did this once and I'm never going to do it again. The event is EASY, this way you're only making it harder. Next guy who does/suggests this in my run is getting his ass kicked out asap.

uh..no..this way is MUCH easier. The mobs are right there for the tank to pick up instead of flying at the healer from healing aggro (bleh stupid geists) and shadowbolting the whole group. I had problems healing the group fast enough on my paladin before I found out about this and now it's cake.

(also, yeah this had been posted quite a few times and I'm wondering how nothing could come up in search when I searched hall of reflections and it's like the first thing...)

The reason it doesnt show up on a search is because you cannot use the search function accurately at your rank

Dunno if they hotfixed this, but my idiotic group insisting on doing it, following him from behind, which just bugged the event... after all mobs died, the wall didn't break, and Arthas just killed Sylvannas - then us.

not true..I did the instance a few times before doing it this way and I never got the achievment doing it regular, but we didn't get killed by the lich king.

you wont get killed by the lich king. he just kills you when you get into the aura of him, but if you stand on the side an let the king pass, you wont get hitten by the aura

if you let him make it to Jaina at the wall he'll kill her then do an aoe that kills everyone...but you can take longer than 6 minutes to do it.

There's no reason to even do this.
