Clit of Sharon - Mr Ick, bombs? No thank you.

Basically its like this, ive been a longtime reader but never had anything to contribute with.

I dont really care for "+rep!!!" i just wanna contribue with something, so if this happens to be a repost, well cry me a river and delete it please =).


All that aside, in Pit of Saron where you engage the Ick/Krick encounter. I personally hate this encounter and the trash that follows, so when some other poster said u were able to skip trash, i gave it a go.

What happened though, is that when we tanked Ick at the bottom of the hill leading up towards the gauntlet cave, (which means, right next to where the boss' original positon is), he didnt do his explosive barrage or whatever its called.

Well, he did actually do the casting animation, and get the cast bar, but nothing happened, no one took damage, no bubbles-of-death spawned. We just finished him off and went on with our ingame lifes.

Although this isnt a MAJOR EXPLOIT!!! LEGENDARY!!!111!!!!11, it feels good giving something back to the community.

Apparently its also possible to pull the boss too far up the hill to make him reset, and then tank him in the original position.
This will also prevent El-bubblo-of-death from spawning.

Just because it's not a hard boss dont' mean theres no reason to make it easier :-)

I play a rogue main anyways, so i never pay attention to the bubbles, I just strafe in a circle around the boss keeping up my dps and moving out of a bubble when it spawns, lol. CoS also works, but duration is too short to really matter. Find a way for me to dps while he's chasing me!

We did this today as well, except he leashed and reset. We then started the encounter normally but he didn't do the bombs (though he did do the animation)...

-Tried this today did not work for me
-Tried this on heroic today, mines still spawned everywhere, including in the enclosed area. Didn't work for me.
