[WG] Leeching without beeing seen.

Everyone has atleast once in their lifetime leeched in WG. It used to be the good old flying from Icecrown and landing ontop the walls, but no longer. Now it is all about being INSIDE the wall!

Wondering how to get there?
Its pretty easy really. All you need to do is look for one of the broken down walls. (Those destroyed last WG round.)
Now just stand there, and wait untill the battle starts, you will then be teleported away from the wall, and inside the wall on the side.

As you can see on the picture below, im not standing on the ground, this was because I didnt want to risk being killed by standing down on the ground with hordes passing by every second. But it works if you just stand down on the ground also.



This is how it looks like if you stand inside one of the walls at the second tier of the fortress. If you choose to do it on one of the walls next to one of the towers, it also works. (Actually doing it close to a tower can be better because you can not get attacked at all there. But you do get less honor if they attack from West and you are stuck in North-East)

And for those choosing to stay where I stood when I was inside the wall, you CAN get attacked, and if people got nameplates on, they will see your nameplate. The closer you stand to the back of the "room" you are in, the safer you are. Please do note that pets will still get in there if their master sends them to attack you (Pets = ez mode to kill anyways)

As I said before, you can still be targeted by people with Nameplates or the "Target Nearest Enemy" or "Target Nearest Friendly Target" enabled.


Here's a picture of how life is when hiding in one of the walls next to a tower:

This place can be safer too hide than the previous place shown as you got more room between the walls, but on the other hand, its not in the middle so less honor, and maybe even no HK's if they attack from the other side.

And also, I've found another place to leech, in the Titan Relic room.
Its easy accesable, all you need is a Flying Mount (280%+ Preff.) and a little bit latency, before WG starts, you mount up on your flying mount, fly in the door to the Titan Relic, and head on a 80 degrees angle upwards (Almost straight up). There you will see a sexy ring above the Titan Relic (the big shiny yellow ball), this is your target. Fly above it and simply just drop down when you automatically dismounts because you are inside.

um, can you get afk reported in WG? never had that happen or anyone complaining about me being afk. on my realm it's 100% win while attacking and 100% lose while defending anyway so maybe that's why nobody cared.
but thx anyway, might be useful to people who actually are in danger of being reported or something.

Sayu, first of all... Off with the bot thats automatically replying to new topics for you :P And second; No, you can not get reported for being AFK in WG... You can even go AFK without getting thrown out, as long as you accept the WG Invite you are all set.
On the other hand, Im not sure if you get honor/marks while being AFK...
I personally use G15 Macro to keep me from going AFK, but for those without it;
Download AutoMouseClicker - random intervals, loop mouse events, XP Visual Styles support, system tray with customizable icon themes
Open up "Run" on your computer (For XP its on the startup menu to the right, on Vista afaik you have to search for it. And no idea for Win7 as I dont use that crap, i regret ever getting Vista...) and type in OSK. This will open the On-Screen-Keyboard.
Now click on the large shiny button on AutoMouseClicker called "Locate" this should make your screen freeze so the only thing moving will be your pointer. Now click on the Space bar on the OSK.
Go over to AutoMouseClicker and type in how many seconds you want it to be between each click on the space bar. This is done writing in the "Click Interval in MS:" sub-window, note that this is measured in MS (milli-seconds) so 1000MS = 1 second. I would say about 40 000 - 60 000 Should be enough. Remember to set it to click with the Left button (Unless you have configured your mouse otherwise)
Now check the Click box and write in how many times you want it to do this.
Finally you click on START and then click on your WoW-window and let the amazing world of automation carry you onwards to your WG-marks.
If you want it to do more than just jumping, hold in CTRL+E while at the AutoMouseClicker window, this should open up a new window called "Mouse Events" or something. If you have understood the main AutoMouseClicker window and the features of it, this shouldnt be hard at all to understand. Just remember to click on Add Event or New Event (cant remember what it was) to add some new lines.
And also, in the tickbox down in the right corner saying how many times it should loop, just remove that tick and it should run infinite.

Precaution: Do NOT set the seconds between each click to less than about two seconds, it sucks if you cant turn it off and you need to restart your computer.

If you by any chance have a problem with the "Locate"-button, just click somewhere random on the screen and try agian, sometimes it will jsut pop up a white window instead of a picture of your screen.

(Wrote it all straight from my memory since I dont have this program on my computer anymore, please do ask if you dont understand something.)

This way you will get Honor from kills and you will get the "Kill 10 players" and the "Destroy 3 vehicles"-quests complete.
So imo, its not as useless as you seem to think it is, you just need to think of the oppurtunities (did I write that right?) that this may have.

And anyways, if you are stealthed, you can, and probably will get busted pretty fast seeing as most people just spam AoE spells in WG because of the masses of people there.

not afk reported but actually thrown out of the raid when you got an overmotivated kiddy as raidleader who does ready check.

pretty sure if you do type /afk, you will be kicked from WG, and hearthed.

yes /afk results in kicked and hearthstone, but i don't really see this as an exploit, but we will only know in next patch if blizzard implements a mechanism that teleports everyone to the fort when they are defending and people that are attacking to the graveyard

and its not flaming, what is wrong with saying stealth in a corner? and if you cant stealth, hide in any corner, i dont call finding one spot to stand an exploit.

Pretty nice area, I've never considered going up there. With a mouse clicker spamming on where the "Accept Invite" button is when it ques, you could probably leach forever.

Note that after WG is over, you have to make it leave the raid also, or else you are stuck in a raid with two offliners and thus getting no kills to rank up.
