Easy IoC Allstar

For the IoC Allstar achievement that requires you to Kill a player, destroy a vehicle, assault a base, and defend a base in a single IoC, can be done a little easier than intended with the following method:

The only thing required for this is a "soon to pop" Wintergrasp.

- Make sure you are q'd for WG.

- Around 7-8 minutes before WG starts, join IoC. (The reason you don't want it to be any longer is because you do not want the IoC to end before WG starts)

- Complete as many of the objectives as possible in the Allstar achievement before WG starts. The more you do, obviously, the easier it will be. (I reccommend assaulting a base and trying to defend one)

- When WG pops, take the q. You can either play WG or immediately re-q for IoC.

- Finish what is left of your achievement in the new IoC.

I have found that when I take a WG q, it does not register as me leaving IoC, so the achievement does not reset. This allows you to do the achievement over the course of 2 IoC's instead of one. I'm sure it would then also work with AV Allstar ect, although I have to wait another 2 hours to attempt to find out.

this is a partial repost, it's known that bg-achievements where you can track things arent reset when you join another bg or leave it somehow unnatural (e.g. dc).
but nvm, this is nicely written and (my opinion) way better described as the others did so +rep for u.

Tyvm. I wasn't aware that this worked by dropping for another bg as well. I suppose the Wintergrasp method allows you to immediately re-q for IoC rather than waiting for another bg to end =)

i got the achievement lastnight, and all i did was simply near end of IoC i alt f4'd waited a few min, logged back in, still had same progress and then just re signed up for IoC and finished rest off simple as

I once left a BG abruptly due to being summoned elsewhere, and my "defend a base" and "kill a player" bits did not reset. But when I went back to IoC and completed the other two, I did not get credit for achievement. Even though all 4 tasks were green in my list.
