My friend told me about 5 weeks ago hes playing wow for free so i asked him how he did it. he told me that he had hes visa card pending but he lost it during a party night. so he called hes bank and blocked the card. he did not change anything on account managment and hes playing for free, so i decided to try this out even tho i didnt belive it worked. i did put 1 month of succribe on my account and payed for that month and 2 days later i called my bank and blocked my visa card because when they block a visa card and u get a new one ull not have the same number due to the security. and at 20th august my time should have been gone but i can still login, on manage account it says "status: Frozen". my friend is still playing for free, and ive been playing 2 days for free and hope it will last.

We both live in sweden and we both got Swedbank, dunno if it has anything to do with it but it should work with any bank.

Step by step:
1. add gametime with your visa card or if u have ur account activated it works as well i guess.
2. call your bank and say you lost your visa card and want it blocked. then say you want a new visa card (ofcourse you still want your visa card and it takes about 5 workdays to get it back).
3. wait until the time is up on your account.
4. ?????
5. PROFIT! you can now play for free.

You dont need an SS Omgowned. This is incredibly stupid and plain f*cking retarded.

Basically what he is doing is a "chargeback." Saying he didnt make the charge. This is credit card fraud, and will land your ass in jail.

And Blizzard will ban you until you pay all past dues as well. Enjoy it while it lasts.

ths is not credit card fraud, im just telling my bank that i lost my visa card and they will send me a new one with new number. has nothing to do with telling the bank i did not do the charge. just getting myself a new visacard

i never tell my bank that i didnt bouht anything, i just tell them that i need a new visa card because i lost mine. and its not chargeback because i never asked em to do so. i just ask them to send me a new visacard because i lost mine the other day, and when the gametime expires blizzard will try and draw money from your visacard but it dosnt exist anymore and therefor it cant draw but you can still login and play.

This is credit card fraud. You are reporting your card lost/stolen, and denying all charges made after that date. By denying charges that are made by you, you are committing credit card fraud.

And I'm pretty sure Blizzard charges your card instantly as well, so you would need to tell your bank that there is a charge you did not make which is 100% credit card fraud.

Well what do you mean lost/stolen reports negatively affect my acredit score? you are alowed to lose your card without any problems, at least in sweden at swedbank.

It's confirm, i received my new card because mine ended on july and i did not activate the card yet and i'm still playing

The thing is, Blizzard will notice that they arn't getting paid for that account, so they will probably ban you eventually and contact your bank to find your current details as you are essentially stealing from them.

Also get a job £8.99 is nothing.

this thread is full of fail, it is credit card fraud, or maybe im missing the point on how scamming a multi million dollar corporation out of money via credit cards ISNT credit card fraud, regardless of you telling your bank you payed or not, you still are getting PAID services for free.
