possible crit chance buff?

didnt see anyone with a post like this so i thought i would
completely mine 100%
while i was out fishing i decided to go to the Auction house and bought me some Captain Rumsey"s Lager
while i started fishing i had my melee thing up and i noticed that when i right clicked the lager to use it my Crit chance went up
might just be me but id like to let you guys know about this could possibley help 19 twinks

i assume if it works for the shiny bauble it will work for all the fishing lure things

all you do is use the fishing thing you have and it increases your crit rating also might not be much but for a lvl 19 could help

Higher weapon skill = higher crit.

This applies to all weapons, including fishing poles. This is no bug or exploit.

Your fishing skill level is used as your weapon skill, so your crit would go up as woul your chance to hit. I'd also say glancing blows would go down but that got fixed in early BC/Late vanilla I think.

I suppose this could really give you an edge in level 5 duels. Kindof.

Also it's working as intended, say you have 30% crit. But then equip a weapon that should give you 2% more crit. Well in theory it should do but because of weapon skill being low you have your crit reduced ALOT.

This is just basically raising the weapon skill to get back to your normal crit lvl
