Lockpicking Exploit -- Still Works

They only partially fixed it. If you go into Alterac Valley the bug still works and im doing it as i type this.

im not sure about other battlegrounds, ive only tried AV due to the bg holiday.

works in AB, jsut tried with a 31 rogue, went from 122-155

though this isn't 100% lvl gain like i read in the previous thread. Seems to be about a 25% chance

Of course there's a certain amount of risk involved, 1. being that it's a BG and you'll have opposing faction action going on, 2. there are a lot less people in a BG, which means things would be a lot easier to monitor....maybe it's a trap? If GM's see where you've been the past whatever amount of time and happen to notice your lockpicking increase in that time....who lockpicks in a BG, honestly? Doesn't seem safe to me.

Well, if i do get caught it will be my first warning and it seems worth it to me...im a lvl 70 rogue and my lockpick is 136 =O. I would rather not spend half my life leveling that up.

Got my lockpicking maxed, no warnings, no nothing. I did test and it does work in BGs, I did it in an AV and a WSG.

My lockpicking is already maxed, but could somebody illuminate what exactly you do for this exploit? Just curious

If you want 100% level up then you have to pick a different item everytime you picklock, and you can't come back to the first item so quickly... atleast 5 different items first. There you will get a level up each time you pick the items.
