Portal your lowbie character with your own Mage

Im not quite sure how to classify this, as an exploit guide, or what, but I just recently did this, and it helped me save a lot of time.

I made a new BE character, and I didnt feel like walking all the way to TB to train Maces.

So I took my BE and joined a party with a friend, then alt+f4ed. Opened WoW again, and went on my Mage. I had my friend invite me to the same party with my other character (who is now showing up as DC'd).

I ran my mage to the area I alt+f4ed out of my BE, opened up a Portal to TB, alt+f4ed again, logged on to the BE, and bam! You got an open portal waiting for you! Saves some time if you cant find or want to bother another mage to port you.

I continued to do this to all Citys, and just did it again as a level 21 BE rogue, its very handy to me, considering I try to level as fast as possible (Level 21 in 12 hrs played! :]).

Again, this is very situational and probably wont help to many people, but I wanted to share.

Doesn't work. Your low level character would get kicked off the second you log in with your other char.

Yes this DOES work. Read before you deny. He clearly says his lowbie was disconnected. But said D/C would leave the toon in group, as the D/C looks accidental to the game. His mage joins group, opens a portal that all in the group (including the D/C toon) have access to use, then DISCONNECTS his mage. At this point he reconnects his alt, in the group with access to the portal, and clicks the portal.

100% functional, ingenious, and awesome... posted before, but let that not stop GENIUS from being recognized for what it is... great minds think alike.
