Getting around the item level stats on Flame Leviathan.(Demolisher)

Tested this out in ulduar today on a Demolisher. What happens is you can control a demolisher that has the stats of a player with a high item level, even if your gear is poor quality. This still requires one of the players in a demolisher to have a high item level.

Get the person with the high item level to double right-click the demolisher so they end up in the passenger seat, not the driver seat. This may take some practice.

Then the person with the low item level jumps into the driver seat, and the demolisher has the stats of the character with the higher item level.

Working as intended. The vehicles' stats benefit from each of the higher ilvl item slot of players in it.

They both benefit from the average ilvl's individual. The turret's ilvl's will not affect the vehicles health, same as the drivers ilvl's doesn't affect the turrets damage.

And the way this works is that both the turrent and the demolisher's health are affected by the player with the higher item level.

Meaning someone in greens can be operating a vehicle with 1 million health while their passenger is still hitting for 7k on the anti air cannon.

Without doing this trick, our demolisher only had 63k health with the player in greens driving it, or the turret was only hitting for 500 when the player with the high item level was driving it.

Um, no. It does. But thanks for trying.

Leave the Pro-Tips™ to the Pros.

Post proof instead of just claiming that it increases damage.
    Get out.

A gunner's modifier affects damage of gunner abilities but has no effect on vehicle health. The modifier is calculated at the time you mount the vehicle. If a player decides to do gear swaps (for the purpose of increasing your modifier), then the player should eject and remount the vehicle in order for the new modifier to take effect.

Are you dumb? Anybody who has ever been in Ulduar will tell you damage increases with itemlevel.

Edit: Easiest testing of this is try hoping into a passenger seat and shooting down pyrite. Then do it naked. End of discussion.
