[Eye of the Storm][All Classes] AFK leeching spot

While doing BG's yesterday I discovered a great spot for AFK'ing in EotS off the map.

Once the game starts, mount up and run the opposite direction from everyone else. Run until you fall off the playing field. Now comes the exploit. It consists of two parts.
    1. You will now (rather slowly) move towards the edge of the map and then out of it. Making it unlikely that you get reported.
    2. Since you died from falling into the eternal abyss, you will not get auto-released after 6 minutes.

Since you are dead, the only method of keeping yourself from auto-afk'ing is typing something in guild chat. (You might also try to whisper yourself, not sure about that one).

    Screenshots will be added soon(tm).

PS: Search for "eye of the storm afk spot" didn't turn anything up. Sorry if this is a repost.
PPS: If you think this is a repost, please provide a link.

    1. Dying in nowhere, drifts you off the map you moved bevore getting triggered by the instand death
    2. If you die in nowhere you have no auto release

    common sense imo

You should always have an Auto-Release timer in battlegrounds, no matter where you die. This way Blizzard tries to prevent leeching while dead.

    Interesting troll attempt though.

PS: I don't really call moving while dead "intended" either.

    EDIT:

    I'll try this sometime, thanks.

What would be quite funny, is if your entire team did this.

    'suicide premade'

Another excellent spot is in your commander's room in Alterac valley

Exactly. If you jump off directly south, you will drift off the map and no longer be displayed on it.

Note: If you jump south-west or south-east (I don't know how much tolerance there is), your drift will stop before you leave the map.

Please specify. People won't report you if they don't see you idling at the starting rock - with this spot, you are not visible on the map.

And they won't report you just because you're dead - and who monitors the Raid Frames 100% of the time to see you being dead all the time?

Yeah I love using this, especially when I can use slow fall (mages / priests / engineers) to drift myself even farther away than usual.

Problem is indeed with add-ons. With a quick glance at carbonite you can easily see who's not participating by their position in the map, right click their icon and click report afk. Getting harder and harder to leech.
