[Arena]Way to camp in Dalaran pipe

Hey guys, earlier today some of my friends and I were bored out of our minds, so we decided to make an arena team (we dont pvp), so we have no resillience gear.

Were getting owned by the same team over and over again (was late at night so not many people were arenaing) so, knowing that we would lose anyway,
I turned around and put Auto run on into the back of the dal pipe, and went to make a cup of coffee, when i got back my arena team was dead, but i was still alive.

So i waited it out and got the free arena points/rating, i tried replicating it again, and it worked for my whole team.

Here is a picture of the spot you have to run into, to check if you are in the right place, just try jumping, if you cant then you should be fine.


Once you are in the right spot, its all just a matter of waiting it out, personally i play another game for 5-10 minutes while waiting.

Nice find, the only problem is, at higher ratings, they will just report you and you will most likely get banned, but it is an exploit nonetheless. +rep

Also, if you have any other teammates in the pipe they must be in the same spot as you, or doing the same on the other side.

The arena doesn't register that anyone is in the pipe, so it doesn't activate the blast, if another member moves out of the spot the water blast will go off and you will all be shot out of the pipe.

I did it twice while running towards the wall, blasted away.

I also tried twice standing on the spot, still the same and arena partner ran straight out when the gate opened.

Be cautious while doing this, I reported a guy for staying in the pipe during a 2v2 match against my team and he got a 3-day ban with no warning.

I thought they didn't tell you the punishment of those you reported. As a side note...browsing MMOwned for tips, and then reporting people is failboat.

Believe it or not some people here have legitmate arena ratings and don't feel like getting griefed out of their hard work. Just because they view this site for other reasons doesn't mean they can't report people for exploiting against their arena team.

Edit: He also didn't say he read this thread and then reported somebody because he learned about it here. I interpreted his poast as that he encountered somebody doing this in the past and reported him, and is giving us all a fair warning before trying it so we don't suffer a similar fate.

Ok, So I tried this today, And I found it working (5v5) when all 4 members run out except you, Then you can just stand still in that spot and wait till the enemy leaves.

Its lame, And I wouldn't recommend you doing this, But if you're desperate like we were after 15 loses and 0 wins, Its a way to get some rating

Hold in mind that this can get you banned though.
