Reseting Daily Quests

Hmm.. a guild mate of mine was actually talking about this a few days ago. He said he joined a 3v3 rated game and he came out with his quests reset. Can't confirm it myself tho, sorry.

There are daily quest you can do once a day but you got to wait a day to do it again, but if you do a rated areana they will reset.

You have just done the daily quest for Netherdrake.
You join a rated arena, those who gets you rating points.
The quest has reseted itself and you can go and do it again.

Only works with (300) Riding Skill.

It used to work, before last wednesday, where it was fixed. But from my experience wasn't with arena, because they reset for me, without I did anything, suddently they were just reset.

I had a friend who could do this, and all he did was log out, and do soemthing, and they would reset, he never told me how... But it was nothing with arena.

Confirmed:

This will reset the quests, but not the daily quest-counter.

For example, at netherwing at revered there's 9 dailyquests. If you do this when you have completed all 9 you can do one more quests that you have already done. You can pick all quests up again after the arena match, but will only be able to hand in a maximum of 10 quests.

At netherwing there are 2 quests when you're revered that will give you 500 rep instead of the usual 250/350. The one in nagrand and the 3-man group quest for aldor/scryer.

If you're smart, you will do those two, go do an arena to reset the quests, then do them again 4 more times like that. That will give you a total of 5000 rep on one day, not counting eggs. That should give you a boost of ~1500 rep per day on revered if my head calcs are correct (which they usually aren't ^^)


EDIT: There's 9 daily quests for me since I have a gathering profession. So there's a total of 10 daily actually, but most people don't have 2 gathering professions...

I tried it yesterday, with only 5 of my 10 daily quests completed. First, i did one rated arena match with my 2v2 team, then went back to the questgiver
, who told me nothing. Then, I made nine other rated matches with the same team, and when I went back again to the questgiver, he asked me to do the quest I had done before again... which I did, before doing 5 rated matches with my 5v5 team. This did not reset the quest again. But the server was kinda buggy yesterday, especially with the arena system. I'll try it again today.

So yes, it works, but you may have to try several times before you can do some already-completed daily quests again

I failed to do this two days in a row, but succeeded the first time I did it. Could be that I never won on the last two days =P Perhaps a win is in order to reset them?

Got my netherdrake now, so I'm happy =) At least I got 500 extra rep from this Guess I'm going for the nether ray next, will try to find out a better system.

I've also heard of people having the quests reset without doing an arena, they had no clue what triggered it though.

For those of you who say it doesnt work, well, you're wrong it does work. I do this nearyly every night, the only strange thing is I do them all, until the 10 max limit, and then after I turn in one when I'm not supposed to be able to do any more, it says "you can only complete 5 more daily quests" and it's true... I really get half my limit back.

By the way, I dont have 300 riding skill, and this is the ogrila and skyguard quests I'm talking about.
