Yes it´s true you only have a small number of restorations. BUT your Account got hacked, someone did stupid things with it, and the GM and Blizz now wanna make you forget about this. So they give you your Item´s back. And they kann restore gold, it´s an Item that called 1 Gold and you sell it for 1 Gold....

same goes for gold, they will not simply hand out gold cause you say so.
and its NOT the gm that does this.
its the restoration department that deals with these sort of things.
Lemme get this strait... You got your account unbanned, plus you got a lvl 70 char? You also got free epic items and gold?
Btw... Did you have the lvl 70 before you got your account unbanned or did they make you a brand new character alrdy set to lvl 70?... And one last thing...What did you get your account banned for?... Srry for all the questions but i might try this out..

Everybody who said that they have tried this and it worked are full of crap.
I stopped playing World of Warcraft for about 6 months. I lost my account information so I called billing and they asked me some information regarding my account. Secret Question and Answer, Email address used on the account and the last 4 digits of the Credit Card used when making the account.
Only reason the asked for the last 4 digits of the account is because I couldn't remember what email I used. Short term memory sucks.
They sent me the information for my account and when I logged in I had two characters. When I quit I had three, one which was a level 60 Shaman. The Shaman was now missing.
I went to Google and typed in a few key words then found out how to contact support for the game itself. I knew that I had a level 60 on that account because it took me forever to level it, I was new at the time.
I told the Support Tech that I had a level 65, BC is out now.. The Support Tech sent me an email saying that he was unable to find records of my account having the Level 65 Shaman but he did find a record of me having a Level 60 Shaman that they returned to my account but they would not be able to return the gear that was lost at the time the account was deleted.
I didn't care about the gear or not getting gold, I was just happy I didn't have to level all over again.

Tonight about 11:30pm PST the server WindRunner crashed. I was unable too log in to my account, it kept coming up with invaild Username/Password. I contact Blizzard via the Telephone and they reset my account.
Apon returning to the log in screen I noticed that one of my main characters was no longer selectable, as if it was deleted. The costumer support rep said that my account might have been hacked resulting in the loss of my character.

Narf. Ok, just to make that sure, GM's can see what Characters have been on your Account and have been deleted, so if you lie to them and say wtf, my account has been hacked and my lvl 70 priest is deleted, they can say: No, ƒuck yourself, your priest was only lvl 65. I deleted all my characters, wrote a gm ticket and just had to tell the GM my characters names, which I want to restore, and then he restored all with all items and gold.
