Well anywho, today i was messing around shard farming in duels, then my friend thought it would be funny to mind control me, so i pressed Drain Soul on the last second, and strangely, my friend got the Debuff of Mind Control but i didnt get Mind Control'd i tried this about 10 times and it works perfectly (The debuff makes target slower by 25% (i think) and attacks (not sure about spells)

So there you have it !

Isn't so that Drain Soul deals damage just after you get MCed and interrupts the effect perhaps? It's just a guess.

nah, MC is channeled and if you take damage you probs just shorten the effect. not canceling it.
