Skipping Baron Minibosses - Clarification

Hey guys,

No this isn't a repost, but it is an addition to the post here:

I wanted to post it a-new as people may not scroll through 66 posts to get to this little gem.

After playing with this for some hours I realised that there is a certain type of crate which opens the gates. Occusionally you will open a supply crate which will be a "double" one. As in, you destroy it, and there is still one there.

Whenever you destroy a "doubler" it opens a gate.

This means that you take out two 'doublers' on megistrate side to open the gate to abomination area, and then two in abomination area to open door to baron area and the baron room.

Hopefully this will save people opening 15+ boxes at a time.

Also... you can now skip "Stratholme supply crates" etc. Allowing more space in your inventory for gold dathering blues

Using this method I ahve gotten my runs down to 3mins each now.

P.S. Is there anyone else who gets the feeling this may be intentionally built in by game designers... as maybe a sort of easter egg? seems strange that the crates and gates would be linked.

P.P.S. opening more supply crates in abomination area opens up the gate to the 'portal' you can never get to. Shame that it leads to nowhere

Tip; first "room" where those critters spawn and u have to aoe them and then wait for the gate to open, open the doublebox just before that room and u dont have to wait

Nice tip will +rep after this post. Yeah I've noticed only crate that are instantly destroyed (no cast time to open) counted. There are also a few more crates before the trap area (the 2 gate sets that closes when you pass through and spawns about 50 weak adds) and opening 3 or 4 of them clears the gate as well. You will still spawn the adds but if you can move fast you can avoid aggroing those weaklings.

I'm getting average of 5 minutes a run instead of 11-12 before with 3 minibosses, aboms, another mini boss, and 4 guards before I could get to baron. I'm not hitting the 5 instances per hour limit with more than 30 minutes to spare, good for AV run (for honor, SotA sucks for horde anyway since we always start defending and often weak defense ) or AB and WSG for the reps to get exalted.

Works perfect. Why? No clue. The fastest I could do a run was 7 minutes from entering the instance to exit. Not sure how someone could do it faster than that.
