you know you have to kill the right arm otherwise his grip kill people right?

Ok, first of all this is something I have wanted to keep within my guild to make sure it doesnt get hotfixed, but hey I guess I'll help people out.
As a DK, I was running into a melee targeting problem when focusing on the right arm. For some reason, my melee swings weren't hitting much at all (could tell cause my melee accounts for 18 % of my damage normally, but it dropped to 7%). If you stand underneath the right arm, you will probably run into this problem AND you'll get targeted by laser beams. I have found a solution to this.
If you stand directly in front of Kologarn while facing him, on top of your tanks, you can target and hit either AND Kologarns body. Also, your melee hits won't be crapping out anymore. On top of all that, you will not be targeted by laser beams either. You might ask if this is an exploit. Well it definitely is. Blizzard meant for people to run to the individual arms to melee dps, not be able to hit all 3 targets while standing stationary. This will bring you a huge boost in dps as a melee(any aoe the melee do will hit both arms and the body as well). It'll be a tank and spank practically for you.
Here is a picture to demonstrate the position. I would have taken a screenie of our kill, but we one-shot him earlier in the week.
I labeled where to stand. It is imperative that you face kologarn directly and noth either of his arms. If you stack all our melee dps here, itll be a quick faceroll of kologarn. Also, you can stack your healers here too so they won't be targeted by the laser beams. Be careful tho, if no one is at range, he WILL laser beam the melee.
Hopefully you guys can use this exploit to roll over Kologarn with ease. I'd like to ask for this to get put into the elite forums as well. I know I can't view it over there, but I really don't want blizzard catching on to this. It is nice having a patchwerk-esque melee fight.
Edit: The whole point of this is so you can kill the right arm, body of kologarn, and even the left arm all while being in the exact same place facing the same direction without having to be afraid of the laser beam.

...
Not an exploit, its intended >.<
EDIT: and you cant stack your healers there, one of his attacks (cant remember the name) will silence everyone close to him for 8 seconds.

Thats the point of this thread. You can kill the right arm (and left arm for that matter) while being in front of Kologarn's body. I'll reiterate this in the opening post.
Shouldn't be in wow exploits if it isn't an exploit.
It isn't intended. I can't just produce Blizzard quotes to back myself up, but if you do a quick kologarn kill vid search, you'll see everyones melee is on top of the arm and not on the body.
As for the silence, there isnt any. A pally wouldn't be able to do half his tanking/dps abilities and enhancement shaman wouldnt be able to use maelstrom.
It sounds weird to me that blizzard accidently made his 3 body parts share a hitbox... :S as for the silence I meant interruption effect.
Its all on stratfu anyway: Kologarn - StratFu
Argh, I fail at mmowned lol... I have made my first two posts in 2 years just today lol (i quit WoW for a while in between). One was a thorough/well intentioned accidental re-post and then this one is just iffy. I thought this one was my crown jewel. Darn stratfu lol.
Anyway, I still don't think this is intended by blizzard. It certainly isn't a repost from mmowned (apparently it is from stratfu tho). I think people will benefit their guild in knowing this information. Like I said, a lot of videos show that a great amount of people do not know about this.
side note: What ability does kologarn cast in melee range that interupts casting? I dont see it in stratfu at least.
Not an Exploit /facepalm
This is the actual strat according to various sites such as bosskillers/stratsfu.
