If you're a Druid, go Bear Form and lay down on the spawn point. Now everyone else has to work for the egg, and most will leave.

I can get 6 eggs in 2 minutes just by running around. Although camping can be fun, I found it was best just to run around. Unless you're in an area that a lot of people are camping, then this could be useful.

Zoom the camera into your character, now you can see the ground and the egg of course.
