Easiest way to fly in Dalaran.

Other methods have been posted for staying on your flying mount in dalaran, yet I looked and couldn't find this one, and this is certainly the easiest. Basically all you have to do is take the portal to the Purple Parlor in the Violet Hold and walk out onto the balcony. While up there you can mount up and fly through different safe spots(see map below)

That's not all. You can use the central areas that are not tagged as "Dalaran" to fly in. In order to go to those locations without being auto-dismounted, you need to be extremely high in the sky and on a (preferably) 280%+ flying mount.

Such Dalaran zones include:

The bottom of the steps of the Violet Citadel, Runeweaver Square, the 'middle area' near the portals inside the Silver Enclave and so forth.

go to dalran sewers and there will be a tunnel which leads to the edge of the flowing city. Don't jump down but mount up with your flying mount and voila!

You can fly into the ally base this way. If you dont have dalran fp already then get a mage ffs.

No point in making a unique thread about it (can't make one anyway, only one post count), so I'll just post this here.

1. Violet Portal, mount, head for the magus commerce area.
2. Quickly move from the area beside the blacksmith over to the fountain (a great place to show off too)
3. Once at the fountain, go down inside it and you can fly around in the sewer hallway.

Not sure why anyone would want to fly around in the sewers, but it is possible. You can't go into any of the rooms or you get dismounted instantly, no anti-flight zone.
