"Noob Fishing" (Hunter)

This isnt so much as of an exploit as it is a clever use of game mechanics to kill some time and gank on a non pvp server. Anyways, all you have to do is get a lvl 10+ hunter (nightelf works best, but if you are good at hiding then other races work too) and take them to the opposing factions starting area. This works best if it is somewhat populated. Leave your current pet at the stable or abandon it, you just need to be able to get a new pet. Once you are there, tame a new pet. You can even look up on thottbot or whatever a quest mob, and tame one of those. Then PvP flag and shadowmeld if youre a NE, or look for a place to hide if youre not. Pretty soon a noob will come along doing his starter quest, and then end up not noticing what hes doing, and attack your pet thinking its his quest mob. All of the times Ive done this, the noobs all flag and "try to kill the lvl 70 omg". Much gankage ensues. Hope you get some enjoyment out of this little trick, I know its one of my favorite ways to kill time.

It doesn't show pet owner if you are not visible I believe. Or has that been changed in a recent patch?

It always showed the pets owner... everyone already knows about this trick, i bet its posted on this site years ago.
