[Priest Bug] Crash the server

I was playing around with a priest friend dueling in Durotar. At a moment, we MC'd each other exactly at the same time. The server then crashed !
We were curious, so we tried again when server got back online, and server crashed again ! And once again after that

So :
- Duel a priest friend
- Spam your MC bind while countdown to make sure you both cast it at the same time
- "Profit" ?

P.S : I hope i'm not unlucky with server crashing 3 times in a row exactly at the moment i'm MC'ing, I wouldn't want to post something false as my 1st contribution :/

Only proof that is possible is by video, screenshots wouldn't help since you can't time the server crash lol, or well, if you made screenshots with timestamps of when the server was offline and then online that could work too.

As a side note, if it really is like that, both players make a macro like this:

/castsequence shadow word pain, mind control

take gear off and spam it. That way both players got the same gcd and timing can be achieved, unless there are some haste talents for priests.

Edit : and the reason it could cause the crash is because the server would be caught in some sort of infinite loop to determine which priest is controlling the other one.

No that's not the reason, the two clients should just recieve a d/c not a server crash.

This is what's happening if anything. The whole server or continent isn't going offline. Just you.

Well, before we crashed everyone in guild chat was spamming "laaaag". And vidéo inc a bit later if my priest friend is still online. Also had the message "World server is down" (or whatever it is on english client) when trying to relog for about a min.

Edit : priest friend is offline, I will try to catch him tomorrow.

It does cause some server lagg - the moment the both priests get DC.... World server down may be an co-incidence <3

agreed. It's not possible to crash a server by using a priest spell.. if it is then they would have disabled it already.

Here's my logic, Priest 1 MC's Priest 2 at the same time as Priest 2 MC's Priest 1; they then both are controlling each other at the same time; but if Priest 2 is controlling Priest 1 and Priest 1 is controlling Priest 2 they would be controlling them selves, but the other priest would be controlling them, ending up in an infinite loop, thus crashing the server because it can't decide who is controlling who. Get it?
