XP at 61 for a level 20 quest!

Ok, so as an alli pally, you get a quest at 20 to go talk to Dafne Stillwell. Well if you are like me and just never did the quest or you glided you character up to 60/61/69, you are in luck!

There is currently a bug with the quests! They are yellow in your questlog (Up until you have to get the items to make the pally mace)!

You know what that means right?

You get XP proportional to your level!!!

I just did the "find Dafne Stillwell" quest, and got 9K+ XP from it! (at 61!)

Guess what else.

After completing the "save her" quest, I got another 4K+ xp!

THEN GUESS WHAT ELSE :O

The followup quest to go report back to the person in the chapel in SW gave me a ****ING 12K+ XP.

12 ****ING THOUSAND FOR A LVL 20 QUEST!!!

HOLY SHIT.

That is a TOTAL of 25,000 XP from some piddly level 20 quest.
I'm not sure if it will work at level 60 though, at at 60 you are still "azeroth" level. 61 is a BC level, so...

You should also get the same proportional XP if you do this from 62-69. I don't know if you will get the large amount of gold from the quest if you do it at 70.

I noticed something similar to this on my horde warlock. The level 20 succubus quest* in orgrimmar was open to me at level 41, even though I had already obtained my succubus from a different quest chain*.

I thought this was a bit odd, but I went through the quest anyway. The quest chain gave me xp equivalent to quests my current level. The best part was that it was basically a long fex-ex quest line that gave me normal quest xp. Too bad I didn't save it till the much later levels.

From the sounds of the original post and what I've seen, this could be happening with class specific quest lines. Maybe only the ones in the 20 range though. Don't have any other characters to test this with at the moment.

* Can't post links yet. The quest chain that I already completed at 20 for the succubus was the Undead quest chain. The one that gave the extra xp was the Orc warlock succubus quest chain. Was just going to give links to the quest chains. Oh well.
