New Ring of Valor arena Exploit

So, a while back, when the arena just started, I posted an exploit about the Ring of Valor arena.
It was about getting to the top of it just when the lifts start to go up.
*I deleted the thread because it was useless to most classes except for hunter (For 2x frost traps right in the start of the game)

Please, do consider this is a 3 months old video and that I'm getting to the next point.

In the video, you can see how to get on top of the arena floor before the game actually starts :
1. Wait till about 3-4 seconds before the game timer says when the match starts.
2. Alt+tab out of the game
3. Count to 5
4. Alt+tab back into the game


Before, this was useless. But now, when Blizzard hotfixed the gates (removed them) this is actually very neat for both ranged and melee classes.
*Does not work in windowed mode. (Thanks sifurion)


The Ring of Valor

• 1. We removed the gates. Players are now free to begin combat as soon as the elevators reach the floor of the arena. This one was a doozy but we think we finally have a good handle on it now.

Edit : Ok, it's working ONLY if you don't play in windowed mode.
Just done it on my hunter, it's a priceless exploit

i can confirm this works just used it just now earlier in the day. WE managed to wipe the ot her team b4 the lift actually level with us.

They probably will d4rk_, but this was also doable when s5 just started, so I presume they won't fix it too soon.
Although, the gates were there, so it was useless for most classes.

I always noticed that when I alt-tabbed for 30 seconds while waiting for the arena to start I was floating... never though of this though! Good job.

looks like they're working on it, since RoV has been removed from live servers for the time being.

I'll check that up in few hours when people on my server start playing.
It's ether they are attempting to fix this, or you're just very unlucky concerning the arena queue.
