get people to type in that script and they will crash and be unable to log in

1. Exit WoW.
2. Find and open WoWDir\WTF\Config.wtf.
3. Find and delete the line "decorateAccountName 1"
4. Save the file.
5. Start WoW... done.

It doesn't crash the game, just makes it impossible to log in. They'll get an Invalid Account Name/Password error. Also, if it actually crashes the game for some people, that's the problem. If WoW crashes, the file isn't saved.

I fooled with this long ago, and have found different unusable menus popup on the login screen depending on what you set it to.
