[Alliance] Killing Dalaran Horde Warbringer in 3.0.8

Hey, long time reader here, finally came up with something to contribute.

Before 3.0.8, it was possible for a paladin to fly into the warbringer, bubble, and 1 shot him. However in the last patch he was buffed to a lvl 80 elite, and as such now has 121k HP.

It IS however still possible to kill him, and here is how:

(This probably requires a paladin, I did this as Ret spec, probably doable for holy and prot too)

1. Mount up in krasus landing and fly over into warbringer area as before.
2. Bubble up before you get ported, and hit him.
3. Now KITE HIM as far as you can, your aim is to get as close to the exit to the horde area as you can.
4. Your bubble will run out long before you can exit the area and you will get ported, however if you managed to get far enough, he will not drop aggro, and will run towards you at your ported location. Use some long range attack (New Hand of Reckoning is ace for this) to ensure he doesnt reset whilst running towards you.

5. Once he is out, you can now take him anywhere in the city. Amusingly, if you kite him to the alliance sector, he gets ported out + stunned (you can use this time to heal yourself if you get a bit low).

Hope some of you find this amusing, was something to do whilst bored before the patch, now there are lots more things to do with him ;D

You can also bubble and run into their inn. I like to chill in there on occasion.

He's also very easily tankable. I tanked him on my druid and ended the fight with about 95% health.

if you run behind him into that corner just a few steps you wont get ported out and can just kill him i did this fine on my ret pally

I'll stand by the Horde Warbringer from now on and gank any ally that dares insult him! xD

You can't kill the Alliance one because we actually protect things On topic, +Rep, that's sweet.

Don't have any high level horde characters, but it may be possible using the following method:

1. Ensure that you are at the maximum flying height just outside of dalaran.
2. Approach dalaran from above the silver enclave (the alliance area). If you get the No fly zone debuff, you are too low, fly back outside dalaran before u dismount and try again slightly higher.
3. Once above the open courtyard of the enclave, you can fly downwards without getting dismounted (you can even land, you still wont get dismounted).

Now from here, it is pretty close to the alliance guy, however I am unsure of the range that you will get ported out from, guess if you fly in with enough speed and bubble, you can reach the alliance guy before it runs out. Don't know where you can tank him from though ;/

*edit* I just tested it with my alliance toon, I was able to get all the way to the back of the room (right ontop of the alliance NPC) before I got dismounted. Now I am assuming that Lag plays a large role in this, however with the right conditions it should be possible, A pala popping bubble as soon as he is in position and aggroing the NPC should be able to kite him far enough back to the entrance to be able to pull him outside. If any horde pala could test this, would be cool to know.

For horde:

Get the portal to the Purple Palor located in the Violet Citadel. From there you can mount and fly to the Silver Enclave BG portals. If you keep flying high in the BG portal area (the hall where the portals are located) you will get dismounted when your at the Strand of the Ancients portal (with +/- 100 Latency). There just bubble and kite the guy out of the Silver Enclave.

Can you do this anymore? I flew into the alliance place in Dalaran, and tried to kill the dwarf guy in there...Now what he does is evades after my second Lightning Bolt cast...And if you go to try and melee him, you'll get ported...Ionno =P
