Easy Relic of Ulduar Farming

Just started doing my Son's of Hodir quests and came upon the quest "Forging a Head"...

You get the quest item "Diamond Tipped Pick" to use on dead giant bodies to the east. The goal of this quest is to retrieve "Stormforged Eyes". Each time you mine one of the giants, he will either spawn 3 enemies with 5k health, or give you a quest item.

Now here's the good part, even when you get the 8 Stormforged Eyes, you can still mine the giants and get the easy to kill guys with 5k health. These 3 ambushers have chances to drop Relic's of Ulduar, Frostweave Cloth, and random greens.

So basically, clean out your bags, pick up the quest and mine the giants for a few hours. When you're done, just don't turn the quest on and come back to farm later.

@Thumbs - Isn't working as intended, loot tables for spawned units are usually erased.

Very nice, I'll try this if I ever get this bloody patch to go on.

Id watch out, GM's are watching these Relics like they did before, if too many people get stupid with this, and you know they will, ban hammers will come across the board again and all your relics will be removed, or your rep.

I doubt you'll get caught if your smart about it and not farm 100's a day useing this method

do you think it would raise mining levels like the other quest in stormpeaks? btw +rep but cant use... already completed it
