[Exploit] [Post 3.0.8] [Priest] Interrupting spells with levitate

However rituals (http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=58659) and alike are still interruptible... but not that fun.


Hi there beloved and mostly hated mmoowned community!

You may only use this Exploit once 3.0.8 goes live and if you are a Priest!

Interrupting spell casts of players of your own faction:
Priests are going to be nerved big times!
Holy: Circle of Healing now has a 6 second cooldown. (src)

But what to do in those 6 seconds?
The answer is just that:
Levitate is now castable on others. (src)

When someone is affected by Levitate, he is set up in the air a little bit.
Thus canceling his cast as if he would have jumped.


For Example:
You could cast this via a focus makro on your best Healing scham to prevent him from taking over your place as the best (at least the most HPS outputing) Healer.

The Macro:

/cast [target=WhosTheSchamanNow]levitate

Replace "WhosTheSchamanNow" with the name of the person you want to cast levitate on. Or change it with "focus" if you want levitate to be cast on your focustarget.

I would say this is working as intended... If you move while casting, you stop casting.
But nice nonetheless.

Good find, but if you were in a raid and trying to get to the top of the charts using this method, you would most likely be kicked out of the raid or worse (wipe the raid).

How to track that? Recount doesnt. Combat log is full of shit...
With all the effects going on in naxx25 nobody will ever know who it was.
You shouldn't be the only priest of course. But with 3-5 priest in my raid I will be just fine

Nice find. But I would gkick anyone on the spot if I saw them doing this in my raids. And wouldnt you actually be going down on the healing charts waiting to interrupt other peoples heals instead of casting your own?
