[Easy] AFK and level weapon skill

Theres a quest in Sholozar Basin called A Hero's Burden A Hero's Burden - Quest - World of Warcraft

And on quite a lot of servers the quest mob is immune to damage but doesnt attack you. So basically train your weapon skill on him.

Havent seen anyone in an hour of training.

If you actually want to level up your weapon skill while AFK with minimal traffic, you go to SMV on top of the Black Temple. There is a banished pitlord. Attack from behind. Occasionally you'll have someone doing a quest which may involve it or just someone passing by being a dick but its safe to leave for a while. This may have been posted before in another thread(s) but I find it to be definitely a better spot than the OP. Not bashing, just giving an alternative.

Doesn't work anymore in patch 3.0.8 afaik. Though I posted this in another thread about leveling weapon skills and I haven't found or heard of a place that tops it.

"If you go to Dire Maul North and behind the end boss there are the Gordok Spirits that will never die. They're by far the best things to level your weapon skills on as you can AFK and not have to worry about pats or enemy players as it's in an instance. Just make sure you don't kill the end boss or the spirits will become friendly!"

dm north is still the best. its easy to get to, there are no pats and its instanced so you dont need to worry about other players.
