Yet another Ghetto Hearth method.

Searched for LeaveParty() and just found the usual Ghetto Hearth methods.

This one is similar but should work in raid instances and heroics.

If you're the last person in the group after everyone else hearths out, simply type

/script LeaveParty();

No need to promote anyone. This is easy to test, just be in a group when you enter an instance, still as leader leave the group and wait to make sure the timer doesn't pop up. Then simply type the above and the timer should pop up as though you promoted someone.

Friend and I used to do this when we were duoing heroics as druids and only one of us could get the hearth through the usual method of promoting.

As I said this is useful in raid instances (I know it works in Onyxia's Lair for sure, haven't been in Naxx to test there though) which normally won't port you once you're saved.

Edit: Yes I realize this is some old stuff here, but didn't see any other threads mention that this will work with raids/heroics that you're saved to, just the usual RFC/Stockades business.

What the /script LeaveParty() does is the same thing as you actually leaving the party. I may be wrong and have not tested this yet, but I will as soon as possible.

You can't if you're the only one left in the group, which was explained in my post.

I.E made a group with a friend, zoned into RFC with me as leader. Without promoting him I left the group, no timer. I then typed the script command and the timer appeared.

Something more is occurring.

Great tip I like it, my mates always leave quicker then me and leave me as leader alone in a cleared instance this way I can ghetto hearth too.

youre right, thats a bug though. (staying in a oneman group, cant be invited)

further information:
this will work in every instance, as long as the specific id is new.
it will not work for example on your second day naxx

I do that all the time with Ragefire Chasm - doesnt matter if im leader or not.. When i leave group, i get teleported 1 minute later.

just the one mentioned problem, you cant leave (the classic way) if you are alone.
