How to reduce / get no fall dmg.

This Exploit requires a Hunter of lvl 20 and above with the skill: Disengage.

Ok this'll be hard to explain, but here goes.
To get this right, you'll have to try it a few times, but once you get it, it's easy.

    1. Get to a high place, I suggest Thunderbluff: Hunter Rise, close to Dummies.

    2. Attack the dummies and get into combat.

    3. Jump off the cliff and about 10 yards before you hit the ground, hit disengage. Your fall dmg will now be determined from the height of where you used Disengage

Tip: Do not wait till you nearly hit the ground, it always takes a while before disengage goes off, therefor you might die before the actual disengage jump.

Now you might ask yourself: How's this useful?

We all hate those people who use flying mounts to avoid PvP Combat, but we hate those the most that get off with 10% HP.
Well that's no problem anymore! Just fly after him, dismount -> Kill Shot, wait till you're close to the ground and disengage -> no fall dmg.

Not an exploit, working as intended.
Wasting your time costs you $15, wasting 24 other peoples time costs $360. Raid right or dont raid at all.

Any confirmation this is "working as intended"?

It isn't even common sense, since you shouldn't be breaking a fall by jumping during the fall?

Try to atleast give a link where a Blue states it's intended instead of just stating things like that and downranking the exploit.

Just trying to contribute here with a useful, working, nice thing and you start cracking it down.

I don;t have a hunter of level 20 but this is still a cool exploit. Could be good for the achievement too probably.
Looking for a free US CD key if anyone can help me, i'll give you back the account, just want to RAF level it.

Works just like a druids/warriors charge when jumping off huge cliffs. So no exploit here. Would also not work for the falling 65 yards achievement since you are taking almost no fall damage and that is how the game calculates how far you fell.

Actually no that isn't how it works. It can't be because Druids and Rogue have reduced fall damage and also Paladins can use bubble so you are wrong there because these classes still get the achievement with those skills.

Technically you are wrong, the Rogue and Paladin abilities are 'masks' that change the calculation of the fall damage, the achievement looks at the fall damage BEFORE any 'masks'(abilities) modify the damage amount. And it works like this :

Player X Falls and takes Y damage <---- Achievement looks at this
Rogue ability reduce Y by Z% to make D
    Player X takes D Damage

    or FOR Paladin

Player A falls and takes B damage <----- Achievement looks at this
Paladin Bubble reduces B by 100% to make 0
    Player A takes 0 damage
